ABOUT THE TAG
What is a Pawforge tag?
It's a custom 3D-printed nameplate that snaps directly onto your pet's existing collar. No rings, no clips, no dangling — it sits flat and silent against the collar.
What material is it made from?
PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) — a tough engineering-grade plastic. It's durable, weather-resistant, and safe for pets. It handles rain, snow, mud, and everyday play without fading or breaking.
How big is the tag? We offer three sizes to match your pet's collar. Large is 60 × 40mm (about 2.4" × 1.6") — best for Labs, Goldens, and German Shepherds. Medium is 55 × 35mm — great for Beagles, Spaniels, and Bulldogs. Small is 45 × 30mm — for Yorkies, Chihuahuas, and other toy breeds. All tags are designed to sit flat against the collar without being bulky.
Will it fit my pet's collar?
The tag snaps onto flat nylon or fabric collars. Choose your collar size during checkout — we offer sizes for large dogs (Labs, Goldens), medium dogs (Beagles, Spaniels), small dogs (Yorkies, Chihuahuas), and cats. The tag won't fit round/rolled leather collars.
Is the text engraved or printed on?
Neither — every letter is physically raised from the surface of the tag. The text is built up layer by layer during 3D printing, so you can feel each letter with your fingertip. It won't rub off, fade, or wear away.
How many characters can I put on the tag?
Pet names can be up to 10 characters. Phone numbers are displayed in standard format below the name.
Can I add icons to my tag?
Yes! The Large tag supports up to 3 icons displayed in their own row below the name — choose from paw prints, hearts, bones, stars, crowns, and more. Medium, and Small tags support up to 2 icons that sit on either side of the name. Note that on smaller tags, icons may be disabled automatically if your pet's name is longer than 6 characters to keep the text legible.
ORDERING & SHIPPING
How long does shipping take?
Orders are 3D printed within 1-2 business days and shipped via Canada Post. Delivery typically takes 3-7 business days within Canada.
How much is shipping?
Free on orders over $35 CAD. For orders under $35, shipping is a flat $5.99 CAD.
Do you ship to the United States?
Not yet — we currently ship within Canada only. US shipping is coming soon.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Because every tag is custom-made, we start printing quickly. Contact us at hello@pawforge.ca as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate changes.
RETURNS & QUALITY
What if I'm not happy with my tag?
We stand behind our work. If your tag arrives damaged or doesn't match what you ordered, contact us at hello@pawforge.ca and we'll make it right — whether that's a replacement or a refund.
What if the tag breaks?
PETG is extremely durable, but if your tag breaks during normal use, contact us and we'll replace it.
Is there a warranty?
We guarantee the quality of every tag. If it breaks, fades, or falls apart under normal use within 3 months, we'll replace it free of charge.
